UK Road Legality & EAPC Regulations
Are your 250W electric bikes UK road legal without registration?
Yes. Under UK Electrically Assisted Pedal Cycle (EAPC) rules, electric bicycles with a maximum continuous motor rating of 250W and pedal-assist limited to 15.5 mph (25 km/h) are legal for riders aged 14 and over on public highways, cycle paths, and bridleways without road tax, insurance, or vehicle registration.
Batteries, Charging & Range
How far can I travel on a single charge?
Real-world range varies depending on battery capacity, assist level, rider weight, and headwind. Our 48V 13Ah to 18Ah models typically achieve 50 to 90 km per charge, while our 52V 34Ah flagship explorer delivers up to 120 km in pedal-assist mode.
How long does the battery take to charge?
Using the supplied smart charger, a full recharge from 0% takes between 5 and 7 hours. The battery can be locked into the bike or unlocked with the included security key and charged indoors.
Assembly & Pre-Delivery Inspection
Will my electric bike arrive pre-assembled?
Every bike is 85–90% assembled, tested, and boxed in reinforced packaging at our Skegness workshop. Setup takes approximately 20 minutes using the included toolkit: simply fit the handlebars, front wheel, pedals, and saddle.
Warranty & Servicing
What does the 2-year warranty cover?
We provide a comprehensive 2-year UK warranty covering the motor, battery pack, electronic controller, and structural aluminium frame against manufacturing defects.
